The Effect of a Thought Whenever you cultivate a thought, Remember it will trace With certain touch in pictured form A story on your face. Whenever you dwell upon a thought, Remember it will roll Into your being and become A fiber of your soul. Whenever you send out a thought, Remember it will be A force throughout the universe For all eternity."Let us first consider our relationship with ourselves. You must take proper care in your life to see that the little things regarding your personal life are in order. You must learn to care for your health and your mental well-being." - Elder Joseph B Wirthlin

New Life New Changes
I have decided to tell you of the things that I have learned. 1 When you have feelings and promptings, listen. I know that many many people say that or have at least heard it. If you believe as I do, it's because the Lord is trying to tell you something. I had that same prompting. Yet I didn't listen. I lived my life the way that I thought I should the way I thought it would make me happy. Although at times I seemed really happy I wasn't, yet I wasn't ready to change. That, is the key. You have to be ready and most of all WANT to change. When I had my son I knew that I wanted my son to know the teaching of the Book of Mormon. I knew that I wanted my son to grow up and be happy and respectful of others. I did NOT want him to treat me like a B*** (like his father constantly called me). I left. I left and moved to Michigan to be with family I knew I would need help in raising my son so that I could go to school. As my son has grown in the last two years I have seen how he mimics everything we do. He adores is "bampa/grandpa". He is such a trusting young boy, a young boy who loves everyone and will try to please everyone. He tries to share and help his momma when and how every he can. I have never regretted my decision to move to Michigan, although I miss my dear friends dearly. I have friends there who stuck by me through everything I struggled with. I am so grateful they all understood why I needed to move and how helpful they were in making the move happen. I am so grateful for my family and the choice to stand by me. To help me. To love me. To forgive me and to help me be happy and most of all for EVERYTHING they do for my son. So I decided that I needed to change things in my life again (granted not a big change like moving across the country). Life is all about the choices we make and/or correcting those mistakes and moving forward. Some of us... no, all of us need to ask for forgiveness for things that we do in this life. We all make mistakes. No one is perfect. Some mistakes are made obvious, some are not. I know many people who are addicted to different things, I myself am addicted to food, especially sugar, ummm chocolate is the death of me. I have been over weight for a good portion of my life. I have not been feeling very positive this winter. I started to feel down this year about how over weight I am so I decided to make my change. I started with a personal trainer yesterday. It was fun to be able to talk to her and get some advice. She did some stretches and some small workouts to see were I am physically. Well... let just say I need to work out a lot more to be were I need to be, but that is why I am choosing to be there every week to stay motivated and to know how to make the most of my work out. I am not very strong and the few things that we did yesterday have my muscles feeling the ache today. That ache, however, is rejuvenating me. Has me feeling alive and strengthening my resolve to make a better life for myself. I am starting a new journey and seeing were it takes me. I am doing 110 days of loosing as much weight as I possible can. Life is beautiful and the more we reach up for help we are able to receive it. We see the hand of God in our lives. We see the beauties of this world and how much the Lord is still very much apart of our daily lives. He is aware of each and everyone of us!
So here is to the next 110 days! This I do for myself, for my son and for a better future. So everyone get up, find someone to serve and find someone to go walk with, walk at home, the mall, the local gym, take your kids, your friend, your spouse. Just Go!

Life is full of suprises
Since my last entry I have moved to Provo (was living in Salt Lake for two years), turned twenty four,

gone skydiving, drove to Idaho to see my family, painted a gourd, rode a four wheeler, kayaked, got a job in Provo, and made some new friends.

I have enjoyed my time in Salt Lake but I have transfered to the Utah Valley University. I have signed up for all my classes and will be starting at the end of August. I have gone skydiving and loved and would gladly do it again!

I made some new friends in Salt Lake and in Provo. I currently live up there 3 days a week (until school starts) because I still work up there. The people (a family) that I live with up there are wonderful people who care so much about their kids.
I hope to one day have a family and be able to shown them how much I love them. I took a trip up to Idaho because there was a Stucki family reunion there and my immediate family came all the way from Michigan to be there (well ok maybe only half my family). I was able to see them and go kayaking with them, paint gourds with them, and go for a four wheeler ride with them. I had so much fun that it was sad to see them leave and many tears were shed when they departed. I LOVE YOU FAMILY!!!

Friends are God's wonderful gift to us
My roommates and I hosted Ward Prayer at are apartment and I made a cake for it and my roommates chiped in with chips salsa, and pretzels. We made some homemade carmel (way too much we had about a pound left over) and fudge. There are also some pictures of game night after playing pretty pretty princess, There were guys who played as well however I thought I would spare them some humiliation and not show there pictures =). Also at my friends farwell party we played murder in the dark and the two on the floor are both dead "reaching for eachother in the death valley" lol Friends are wonderfull people that help give you those great laughs or help you when you need it. I love you ALL!

This past month has been wonerful, I have a wonderful boyfriend, a wonderful friend and roommate. I spent a beautiful Christmas with my family and way my newest cousin get blessed by his father and all my uncles and some cousins, including my grandpa, my dad and my brother. I love this church and that my brother has gone a mission. I spent Christmas in Idaho and has a wonderful time the day after Christmas. The snow fell for at least a week straight! I went out to shovel with my Aunt Ellen and my Grandapa, Mom, Dad,Justin, Josh, Tara, and Taylor. They climbed on top of my Gandma's roof to take the snow off, then we shoveled the sidewalk just as we finished my Grandpa came over with the tracktor and shoveled the snow again. We had a lot of fun while there. I love my family so much and am so grateful that they were able to come down and spend time with me before going on to Idaho.
